Yesterday I was in a conversation with Jeni and Sandy, the founders of Hey Marvelous (this is my affiliate link for their super beautiful software I use to host my memberships and courses.) - They said 3 words that I love and I hope they’ll inspire you too.
I was sharing about how much I enjoy experimenting and a few ideas that are emerging:
1) a vision I have to synthesize and deepen my creating and teaching
2) how this new experiment here on Substack is going really well
And their response was:
“Lean into experimentation”
I love that!
yes!
I love that language of leaning in—- It’s so physical and evokes a positive forward direction, with a sense of support as well.
I’m imagining leaning into the wind and being held by it at the same time…
What if I / you / we really lean into experimentation?
What would that look like? What would be possible?

This is an experiment from my practice today:

Leaning into the subtle movements of my horse grazing-it is very interesting how she has a pattern of movement of both her mouth and her feet. My hand on her wither and my side touching her side . The curve of her barrel and the feel of her breathing through her body-we become synced in the rhythm
Pulled out my old flip chart pad, got new fruit scented markers and set up a reclaimed trashed artist easel and going to sketch and play. Feeling unleashed.
